Today marks a major milestone in skateboarding footwear as Vans officially releases the Skate Curren Caples, the first-ever signature shoe for long-time team rider Curren Caples. A member of the Vans family since 2008, Caples’ debut model represents the culmination of years of dedication, style, and innovation on and off the board. To celebrate this release, Vans has launched a full campaign featuring legends like Ray Barbee, Geoff Rowley, and Anthony Van Engelen, alongside a 47-minute rough cut video from Thrasher highlighting Caples’ effortless and technical skating.

The Vans Skate Curren Caples model is packed with skate-ready performance features while maintaining a classic Vans aesthetic. It includes SICKSTICK™ rubber for enhanced grip, DURACAP™ reinforcements in high-wear areas for extended durability, and POPCUSH™ insoles for superior impact protection and energy return. A reversed waffle tread boosts traction, and the shoe’s design is finished off with a custom side stripe and tongue patch exclusive to Caples’ model.
