Palm Isle - 25 Years Party

Palm Isle - 25 Years Party

For Palm Isle Skateshop’s 25th anniversary, we threw it down at Turbo Haus on St-Denis, and the day couldn’t have gone better. The afternoon kicked off with a live stream of Black Sabbath for Ozzy — the perfect way to set the tone before the sesh.

Then came the jam on two setups in the alley: a concrete curb and a kicker with a trash can. Big shoutout to Vans, Ace Trucks, Mehrathon, Satan’s Drano, and Turbo Haus for backing the obstacles and keeping the session alive. Tricks went down at both spots — backside flips, tre flips, kick back lips, slappy krook to backlip… the homies went off, and the energy stayed heavy all afternoon.

On top of the skating, we handed out cash prizes on the spot, rewarding some of the best moves and keeping the session hyped. JF Galipeau was out snapping photos all day, capturing the whole crew and the madness for the Palm Isle archives.

After the jam, Alexis Lacroix’s band played live inside Turbo Haus, setting the vibe for the evening. We closed it out with beers in the street and in the bar, surrounded by friends, skaters, and the Palm Isle fam from the last 25 years.

Huge thanks to everyone who came through, helped out, chilled, skated, or just showed love — the event was a success because of you. Here’s to the next chapter!
